Beauty blogger confession

The amount of make-up, skincare and perfumes I get sent to me on a daily basis is overwhelming. I do feel extremely blessed that I receive almost every new beauty product that’s on the market, right on my doorstep. Every time I receive a new package it feels like it’s my birthday. The only downside of receiving so many beauty products daily is that it’s extremely challenging to try everything out.

Particularly with skincare products I find it challenging to try everything out that I receive. Whenever I change skincare routines or change brands, my skin starts breaking out. I don’t have a sensitive skin and it usually doesn’t have anything to do with the quality of the brand, my skin just has to adjust to new products and unfortunately that causes breakouts. Also, I only write about products after trying it out. Usually it takes about a month to see results of a new skincare product but this can vary with every product/brand.

1. Ultra Facial Cleanser (gel wash)
2. Midnight Recovery Concentrate (serum)
3. Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence (lotion)
4. Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Masqe (exfoliating mask)

I’ve received a bunch of Kiehl’s products and these are the ones I’ll be tying out in the next coming days. Btw, I went to the private screening of Zoolander 2 with Kiehl’s and I really enjoyed the movie. I usually don’t like corny humor but I thought this movie was really funny because they make fun of bloggers and the fashion industry so definitely check it out if you get the chance.

I haven’t tried Kiehl’s products religiously, but I always hear amazing things about the brand and I’ve had really good experience with a few of their products I’ve tried so far. I find their range for dry skin absolutely amazing; I keep a few of their Ultra Facial creams in my kit since I have a lot of clients with dry skin. I personally have oily skin so I’m curious to see what these products will do to my skin. I will keep you guys posted about these products ☺

Has anyone tried Kiehl’s products before?
