Happy weekend! I’m so glad that the weather is starting to cool down, this summer seemed endless! In this post I want to share a few photos of me wearing one of my current favorite dresses. I’m usually not the type that wears dresses a lot but the material of this dress in particular is all I want to wear. The cool material is perfect for this weather! My hair usually doesn’t react well to this humidity but surprisingly, my curls have been on “fleek” lately.
I love trying out new make-up looks and stepping out of my comfort zone. I wanted to do something a little different and heavier from what I usually do so I chose to add a green detail to this look. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning while applying the green eyeshadow but luckily the end result turned out great (in my opinion). I did the whole thing; foundation, contour, lashes, eyeliner… Just a full face of make-up.
I’m really into clean make-up looks lately; no false lashes, glowy skin, glossy lips and minimal contour. I think it’s a versatile look that can be worn both during day and night. I tried a new foundation for this look & I can’t believe it took me this long to finally use it. I have a feeling it’s going to become my favorite from now on. It also photographs really well!
It’s officially summer in Dubai and it’s so hard to choose what to wear! Every summer it’s a challenge, outdoors its hot & humid and indoors it’s cold because of air conditioning. I’m currently loving these flared pants, especially with this weather. The fabric is quite thin and you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion. I had a casual day, running errands and stopping by a few events that were happening in town.
I always look forward to festival season, especially Coachella (not that I’ll be attending) But, I love seeing the creative make-up looks and the fashionable bohemian looks. I had never really tried “festival make-up” on myself so I thought I’ll give it a try. I really enjoyed creating this look and I’m pretty happy with the end result too. Product details are listed below.
There’s no denying that brown lipsticks have been popular these past few years and I hope the trend won’t be dying anytime soon. I personally love wearing brown lipsticks, not only because the 90’s is my favorite era when it comes to beauty and fashion trends but also because its very wearable on a daily basis. If you want to over-line your lips without it looking too obvious then brown hues are the perfect shade for that.
Happy new year everyone, I hope you all had a great new years eve! Mine wasn’t very exciting, I accidentally fell asleep right before midnight so I missed all the fireworks. 2016 has gone by so quickly and I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings, hopefully some positivity and peace into this world. Looking back at my #MOTD’s I can definitely tell that glossy lips and big hoops are really my thing. I can’t wait to create more content and share lots of make-up inspo with you all.
I hope everyone is enjoying their last days of 2016. These next few days I’ll just take it easy and get ready for 2017. My brother is in town so I’m super excited to spend new years with him! I’ve been getting so many requests to share my music playlist so I thought I’ll create a little playlist for you guys that’s mobile friendly then you can listen to it all the time.
Happy holidays! I hope everyone had a great 1st day of Christmas. I still find it way too hot in Dubai (especially for December) yesterday it was 31 degrees!.. I just want to experience winter for a bit and wear my knitted sweaters 🙁 Anyway, this is my look of the day. I’m still obsessed with chokers and hopefully the trend won’t die in 2017. I went for a gold eye make-up look with of course, glossy lips. I hope you like this look, all product and outfit details are linked below.
I’ve been wanting to get box braids for such a long time but I kept postponing it because I knew it would take much time to get them done. Last week I decided it to just go for it and finally get them done, also since Sole DXB would be a good occasion for it. For those who aren’t familiar with Sole DXB, it’s a big urban event happening once a year in Dubai. They bring in international rappers, DJ’s, b-boyers, artists etc. You can also buy limited edition sneakers or swap your sneakers with other people. I thought It would be the perfect occasion to completely change my everyday look and go for 90’s inspired look from head to toe. I will link all the outfits that I’m wearing below, unless the items aren’t available anymore.
