The summer is usually the time of the year where I wear more playful colors whether it’s my make-up, clothes or nails. However, lately I’ve been loving everything in a coral, peachy shade including my nail colors. I’ve created some DIY nail art looks as an inspiration for this summer. I did a similar post last year for New Years Eve, if you haven’t seen it yet check it out here!
Move over marble nails, there’s a new nail trend taking over the internet: Quartz nails. Healing crystals have been used for centuries but it’s slowly becoming more popular in 2017. Rose Quartz is a healing stone that’s now a source of inspiration for a new manicure trend. It’s now being recreated in nail art and it’s currently my new favorite trend.
Whenever I think of spring colors, I always think of pastel colors for some reason. I also usually tend to go for pastel nail colors during spring even though I’m not even a pastel kinda girl. I recently did some spring cleaning and I gathered all my pastel nail colors and kept those that I still love to wear. Below you’ll find all my favorite pastel nail colors that I usually wearing during spring.
Happy holidays everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the last few days of 2016 before welcoming the new year! I love adding a glittery nail polish over a plain nail color, just to create that extra sparkle and NYE seems to be the perfect occasion for that. I’ve created a few quick and simple nail arts you can do at home just in case you need some inspiration for New Years Eve. I’ve also added a “nude” nail art if you prefer to keep your nails minimal, this is also my favorite nail combo. FYI, glittery nail lacquers also seem to work great as a top coat 😉
If there would be an award for worst-nail-painter (is that even a word?), it would probably go to me. I’m so bad at painting my nails; it’s something so simple yet I always end up messing up my nails. Besides, I have no clue how to get rid of dry cuticles other than using way too much cuticle oil… I’ll just leave that to the manicurist the next time I visit a nail salon. Anyways, lately I’m really into nude nail colors. It goes well with almost every outfit and make-up look, besides, it looks super chic. I wanted to share some of my go-to nude nail colors that I’m currently loving!
It’s been a while since I’ve done a post featuring my favourite nail colours. The shades that I’ve picked out for this post varies from; pastels, metallic, bold and flashy colours. There’s something about colourful nail colours that instantly puts me in a good mood. These shades certainly do! I love wearing these colours on it’s own or combined together with some cute nail art.
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of those monthly beauty favourites. As I was collecting all of my favourite beauty products of the month I noticed that everything I picked out was accidentally in pink!
First there was the Fifty Shades of Grey book, then there was the movie and now there is a nail colour collection thanks to O.P.I! I haven’t even watched the movie yet, I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews on it which made me lose interest… However, I did try out the nail colour range and I must say it’s very interesting if you’re a fan of grey nail colours 🙂
We didn’t even have a proper Winter and Summer is already around the corner (unfortunately). The weather lately has me obsessing over pastel nail colours! I’ve recently tried out these new nail colours by Dior, I think every beauty addict owns at least one or two bottles of Dior nail lacquers. The formula is easy to work with and Dior’s nail lacquers are famous for their perfectly rounded brushes that allows a very neat application also, the colours are always on trend. Some of these shades are from Dior’s new Summer Look collection which will be launched in May 2015.
Can we just talk about how time FLIES!? I can’t believe it’s March already. We’ve barely had a proper Winter and now Spring is just around the corner… I’ve already started Spring cleaning so the other day I was organizing my nail colours and I noticed that I have quite a lot of nail colours in pastel shades. So, I’ve made a selection of my favourite nail colours which I think would look great to wear during the Spring season.
