Four beautifying smoothie recipes

A few months ago, I attended the launch event of Murad skincare here in dubai. During that event, I learned a lot about the importance of taking care of your skin from within. I also received a few beautifying smoothie recipes that you can easily make at home and will help to nourish your skin. I tried some of the recipes and they’re so delicious, they’re also all vegan.

 

Purifying smoothie (treats congestion)

This recipe was specially developed to purify your skin – 4 servings.

  • 800 ml unsweetened soy milk or almond milk
  • 75 grams frozen pineapple
  • 75 grams avocado
  • 75 grams walnuts
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger root
  • 1tsp lemon juice
  • 1 full leaf of kaele
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • handful of ice cubes

Hydrating smoothie (treats dehydration)

This recipe was specially developed to keep your skin hydrated and supple – 1 serving.

  • 90 grams pomegranate
  • 110 ml soy or almond milk
  • 90 grams blueberries
  • 1 tbsp lecithin granules
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp dried goji berries
  • handful of ice cubes
  • optional: sweetener to taste

Calming smoothie (treats sensitivity)

This recipe was specially developed to help calm and soothe sensitive skin – 1 serving.

  • 115 ml unsweetened blueberry juice
  • 115 ml almond milk
  • 100 grams raspberries
  • 1 tbsp lecithin granules
  • 60 grams pumpkin seeds
  • 1 small banana
  • handful of ice cubes
  • optional: sweetener to taste

Anti-aging smoothie (treats hyper pigmentation, loss of firmness, lines & wrinkles)

This recipe was specially developed to keep your skin youthful – 1 serving.

  • 175 ml carrot juice
  • 50 ml natural unfiltered apple juice
  • 2 dark green lettuce leaves
  • 1 scoop soy protein powder
  • 2 spinach leaves
  • 75 grams fresh broccoli
  • 2 sprigs of parsley
  • 1/2 tsp ginger root
  • handful of ice cubes
