Tips on how to get the Ramadan make-up look
The holy month of Ramadan is already around the corner. This means lots of Iftars in the evening. I love
Ramadan in Dubai. It really brings people together. Just because you are fasting it doesn’t means that
you are not allowed to take care of yourself. Here are some tips for a Ramadan make-up look.
During Ramadan we are obviously extra tired so make sure to cover up the dark circles under the eyes.
It’s very important to protect your skin from the sun. Wear a tinted BB cream that has SPF in it. It will
cover the blemishes, it protects the skin from the sun and it’s moisturizing. Finish it off by applying a
peachy or pink cream blush. Apply the blush on the apples of your cheeks, this will give your face a healthy
looking yet natural finish.
If you don’t like to wear mascara during Ramadan, you can wear individual lashes. It looks super natural,
it creates volume to the lashes and it feels very light on the eyes. If you feel like the eyes are too nude,
apply kohl in the waterline. Not only doesn’t the kohl smudge, it’s also very healthy for the eyes!
Apply a moisturizing lip balm on the lips to prevent them from drying (since we can’t drink anything).
Ramadan ‘evening’ make-up:
At night you can darken the make-up look a little more. Since there’s a very Arabic/Middle Eastern vibe
at night, I like to create mysterious eyes.
Go for a matte brown smokey eye look and apply kohl inside the waterline. If you prefer to keep your
make-up look simple and less heavy, go for a black winged eyeliner. Finish the eyes by applying mascara
and luscious lashes.
Apply a peachy/pink cream blush on the apples of your cheeks and contour your face by using a matte
bronzer. Peachy lips look great with the brown smokey eyes! Add a translucent gloss on top of the peachy
