Look of the day

Look of the day + Announcement!

(A belated) Ramadan Kareem!

I hope everyone is having blessed and peace full month! In this post I would like to
share product details of my day look plus I have an announcement to make.

There is so much going on in Gaza, Syria, Burma, Lebanon, Iraq and many many
countries! With the attacks that are going on in Gaza at the moment it doesn’t seem right
to blog about make-up and beauty that takes away our attention from the real problems
in the World. I’ve also been distracted by all of that to be honest.

That’s why I have decided to take a break from blogging for a week or just for a few
, depending on how fast things will cool off. I’m doing this out of respect for the
innocent people that are a victims of this conflict and paying with their lives during this
horrible time.

I don’t want to draw attention to my blog while there are far more important things
going on right now which is saving innocent lives. Instead, I’ll be focussing on charity

We should remember how blessed we are! Being able to feel safe at home. Not having to
do anything to stay alive is a blessing already.

I also wanted to share a charity video that I’ve worked on with OMO along with many
local personalities. This video is meant to raise awareness on how to help refugees all
over the world. Watch the video:

You can donate your clothes at the ”Comfort & Omo” collection centre at your nearest

Dubai: Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Center, Mirfdiff City Center and Lamcy Plaza.
Kuwait: Avenues Mall

Product details:
This has been my look during Ramadan. I obviously kept it very natural. I know a lot of
people are against wearing make-up during Ramadan. Personally, I think it’s important
to look representative when I go out or when I have meetings (without of course over
doing it) therefore I’ve only enhanced my features. After iftar I usually wear a coloured
lipstick and add some contour to my eyes.

Wow amazing post najla. Its very heartbreaking to watch the situation in gaza and not being able to help. I have so much respect for you for taking a break from blogging and acknowledge whats important and putting aside somethong that you love doing out of respect.

Let’s pray for this to stop! God bless #prayforgaza
