As a make-up junkie and beauty lover, I still remember until this day the first beauty products I’ve ever used. My first lip balm I have ever used was by Labello and as I got a little older, my mom would allow me to use their colorful lip balms and so I did. I remember my go-to colorful lip balms were the Cherry flavor and Pearly pink lip balms by Labello and I felt so grown and feminine whenever I was wearing those.
This season Labello has released 6 new limited edition lip balms with a neon packaging and I was really excited to try them out. The cute packaging actually glows in the dark however, it’s still invisible on the lips (even in the dark).
I’m currently packing for Thailand and I think it’s no secret that lip balms are a must have on warm destinations especially if you’re laying by the pool or beach. Salty water doesn’t only dry out your hair, but your lips too. What I really like about these lip balms is that they’re moisturizing and effective without being too obvious which also makes it a unisex product. I know a lot of men (including my husband) don’t use lip balm regularly simply because it looks too obvious on the lips. Some lip balms look very glossy or can get sticky which I don’t usually mind however, sometimes when I’m wearing a matte lipstick and my lips feel a bit dry, I prefer using a Labello lip balm which helps to moisturize my lips while keeping the color matte.
I’m traveling to Thailand soon and I’m definitely packing some of these lip balms with me. Keep an eye out on #NajlaTravels on Instagram to stay tuned for my new travel pictures.
