New beauty launches I’m excited to try

smashbox lipsticks

Yesterday was one of those days where I took the time to organize all of my make-up and unpack new packages. While unpacking, I came across some beautiful products that I left a side on my make-up table to try and I wanted to share them with you.

christian louboutin makeup
Christian Louboutin Beaute // “Lash amplifying lacquer” (mascara) #Khol 100
Christian Louboutin Beaute // “Luminous ink liner”  #Rouge Louboutin

I always find it exciting when Louboutin launches new beauty products because they’re so luxurious. They always go out of the box and you never know what to expect from them which is great. For their latest launch they’ve released eye products which includes this mascara and eyeliner in the picture. I haven’t tried the mascara yet but knowing the high quality that Louboutin releases, I do trust the formula.

I swatched the eyeliner briefly on my hand and it was quite pigmented. The eyeliner is in the shade red (duhh) which is the exact same red shade of the infamous Louboutin soles. The thing that was a bit disappointing about this eyeliner is that the brush isn’t sharp enough. I always use a separate eyeliner brush for all my liquid eyeliners so I won’t be an issue for me. However, I do recommend using a sharper eyeliner brush if you want to create a sharp line.

Price: $70  &  $75 each

becca cosmetics loose powder
BECCA Cosmetics // “Soft light blurring powder” #Golden Hour

Becca Cosmetics is by far one of my favorite brands. They can almost never get it wrong with their products. I recently got this loose powder in the mail along with a kabuki brush, which I completely forgot to include it in the picture! This loose powder is suppose to blur out imperfections on the skin, any product that blurs out the skin is a winner to me. However, I do still have to put it to the test. Judging by the shade of this powder, I think it goes perfectly with my skin tone. However, I am quite surprised that it only comes in one shade. I’m not sure if it’s suitable on darker skin tones yet.

Price: $38 each

nars makeup
NARS Cosmetics X Charlotte Gainsbourg // “Hydrating Glow Tint” #Medium
NARS Cosmetics X Charlotte Gainsbourg // “Multiple Tint” #Alice

The brand is back at it again with a new collaboration collection. I have a love and hate relationship with collaboration collections. Simply because, the products are always amazing but they’re available for a limited time and that’s very unfortunate. This new collection features this Hydrating Glow Tint, it looks and feels like a tinted moisturizer which is always good. The second product, I’m still not sure if it’s a blush or a lipstick but personally I would use and abuse it on my cheeks. It’s a really nice pop of color, perfect for summer!

Price: $36  &  $39 each

eyeko makeup
Eyeko // “Brow gel, Mascara & Lash boost

I’ve heard and read a lot about these Eyeko products. It’s a UK based make-up brand and it’s the first time for me to get my hands on them. The picture features the brow gel, mascara and a lash boost. The tube of the “lash boost” contains tiny fibers that are suppose to elongate the lashes when applying mascara. I still have to test out these products & figure out how they work but I’m excited to try them out.

Price: $25,   $26  &  $17,50

smashbox liquid lipsticks
Smashbox Cosmetics // “Always on liquid lipstick”  #Baja Bound & #Blast Off

I got the full collection with all 20 shades however, these two colors stood out to me the most. Mainly because they seem like such pretty colors for summer and I can’t wait to wear them. I’ve tried some of the shades briefly and I’m loving the formula. It feels lightweighted and most importantly, they don’t dry out the lips which most matte liquid lipsticks do. I might do a separate post with all 20 swatches.

Price: $24 each

dior products
Dior Beauty // “Youth perfecting 1-minute mask”
Dior Beauty // “Eyeshadow palette”  #001 Blue Gradation

I recently started using some of Dior’s skincare product and I’m so impressed! I came across this 1 minute mask and I’m very excited to try it out. I’ve been traveling a lot lately and I feel like my skin needs some extra love and I can’t wait to test this out. The eyeshadow palette is part of Dior’s spring collection. The blue shades are beautiful and it gives a nice pop of color around the eyes, paired with fresh skin.

Price: $68  &  $63 each
