As some of you may have noticed, two weeks ago I stayed at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Abu dhabi for the weekend. I had an amazing time and I was really stunned by how gorgeous the hotel/resort is. The entire resort is inspired by renaissance architecture and it offers ultimate luxury. We stayed at the Club Level Lounge which is basically a VIP section in the hotel offering the best services.

First of all, the outdoor pool is HUGE! I’ve never seen a swimming pool this big! The
infinity pool looks over the beach and Grand Canal.
There’s a small village/villa compound in the resort that’s inspired by Venice. When I
walked through the village I seriously got deja vu’s from when I was in Venice. It looks
exactly the same!
The view from our room was breathtaking! It was overlooking the Sheikh Zayed Grand
Mosque (world’s third biggest mosque!). On the other side of the Hotel there are rooms
with a sea/pool view. Both views are stunning! The best time of the day to see the view is
during sunset, I will just allow the images to do the talking for me…
Right outside the pool there’s this little street with these stunning lights! In that little
street are several restaurants (indoors & outdoors) where you can have a romantic
dinner under the lights. Usually there’s even an Opera singer that sings under these
beautiful lights however, not during Summer because of the humidity obviously.
The resort has 10 different restaurants varying from Middle Eastern, Italian, Asian to
International cuisines. On the first night we had dinner at the Lebanese Mijana
restaurant. This had to be one of the best Lebanese restaurants I’ve ever been to and the
service was really good as well as friendly staff. They also have an outdoor shisha lounge!
On Friday’s all the restaurants in the Hotel become one for the Friday Brunch. They
have all the dishes and cuisines you can imagine; Sushi, Arabic, Thai, Mexican, Italian
food, Oysters, Lobsters, Steak, literally everything! And all dishes are freshly prepared
on the spot. I love how the Friday brunch is being organised as a big event, it’s super
busy and people from outside of the Hotel come as well. There was live music and the
quality of the food is really good. They have one restaurant dedicated to deserts only.
After the brunch you can chill by the pool to recover from the food coma!
