After the release of Clinique’s Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm, the brand
has now released a similar chubby stick to fullfil the needs for on-the-go women. The
dome-shaped balm is easier to use and the shades are supposed to impart a beautiful
rosy look for all skin tones.

The chubby sticks have a sheer to medium coverage however, the darkest has the most
sheer coverage of all of them. All shades are build able by layering up. It feels like a lip
balm when applying and they’re as moisturising. I like the slightly frosty finishing of it
which is rare and unexpected from the type of texture. They didn’t last very long
although they claim to be long lasting. It started fading away the minute I ate or drank
something. They don’t leave a stain behind either. They’re very easy to apply even
though the chubby stick is very ”chubby”. I didn’t expect the application to be that easy,
it kind of moulds into the shape of the lips automatically.

It can be used as a blusher as well, however for my skin type I prefer to use it on my lips
only. Because of the frosty finish it will enhance the open pores on my cheeks. Although
I think it can look beautiful as a cheek stain, it offers a beautiful and healthy glow.

Claims to be allergy tested and 100% fragrance free.

Price: $21 each

For both, lips and cheeks 🙂
It can be used as a cream blush and as a coloured lip balm.
