It’s always exciting when Elie Saab launches a fragrance, you never know what to expect!
This limited edition fragrance is inspired by Elie Saab’s Spring/Summer Resort
Collection for 2015. I love the fact that Elie Saab only changes the colours of the bottle
and not the shape itself, it’s recognisable as ES’s signature bottle. The notes include
Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Frangipani and Fig. The fragrance is set to launch in
Le Parfum Resort Collection was developed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian who has
created legendary fragrances in the past. He’s known for designing the fragrance
”Le Male” for Jean Paul Gaultier one of the world’s best selling perfumes!
”The fragrance is released in waves like warm gentle breeze caressing the
face of a woman who stands on the deck of her yacht wearing a stunning
long dress in a shade of blue that is reminiscent of the sea. It is a fleeting
but intense moment filled with nothing but harmony.”
– Francis Kurdjian (perfumer)

Heart notes | Jasmine, Frangipani, Orange Leaf
Base notes | Amber, Cedar
I adore Elie Saab perfumes! I’ve never tried an Elie Saab perfume that I didn’t like
however, I’m not a fan of the top note at all! It sounds very harsh but it really, really
reminds me of a toilet freshener. Perhaps it’s the combination of the Fig with Mandarin
but it’s just not doing it for me. Luckily for top notes they don’t last! 🙂 The heart note
however develops into a beautiful sweet, fresh yet spicy scent, absolutely beautiful! The
Frangipani has definitely been a good move to add to the fragrance, it really gives it that
tropical twist. The longevity is not any different from most eau de toilettes, about 5+
hours… Thumbs up for another great fragrance from the Lebanese couturier.
