Swatches + Review: Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette

I know I’m probably the last person to review this palette but I still wanted to share my thoughts and swatches. Ever since I have gotten this palette, I haven’t stopped using it. Lately I’m really into warm and brown orangy eyeshadow colors so this palette has been perfect for me. I think Urban Decay never disappoints when it comes to the pigmentation of their eyeshadows, including this “Heat” palette.

I absolutely love the combination of textures, it contains, matte, frosty and shimmery formulas including different tones of colors from light to bold. The only thing I wish was different in this palette is the lightest shade #Ounce I wish that the texture was completely matte instead of frosty, this way I could’ve used it as a highlight for m brow bone (since I prefer that to be matte). Regardless, it’s a beautiful shade and I would use it instead to highlight the inner corners of my eyes.

I really love this palette, the colors are beautiful, pigmentation is great. The palette is very versatile and it’s perfect to create a simple day look or a bold evening look. If I were to travel and pack only one eyeshadow palette, this would definitely be the one, I even use the shade #HeDevil as a blush and it’s beautiful. My only negative point would be that the lighter shade is a bit too metallic instead of matte.

All shades are super pigmented, build able and easy to use. The color pay off is amazing, I find none of the shades patchy or chalky. In conclusion, I love this palette!
