The most beautiful lavender field in China

Visiting China was such an amazing experience. I’ve seen many places within the province of Yinchuan but this experience was so amazing. I got to visit a huge flower garden called: Jinshadao Resort and they have this giant lavender field. I was expecting it to be busy and overcrowded but since it’s such a huge area, the crowd isn’t very noticeable. The lavender flowers only blossom once a year and I’m glad I got to see it 🙂 Click here to see my previous post of China where I explored the Islamic area including some portrait shots of the locals.

Beautiful tropical showers in Ubud

I’m so happy that we’re getting closer to winter here in the UAE. I can’t wait for it to start raining again. I’m looking forward to the gloomy weather I had in Ubud. During my first week in Bali, I stayed for a couple of days in Ubud. This part of Bali is known for its rice fields and tropical showers (which I’ve experienced a lot during my stay). Despite the rain and gloomy weather, Bali was still so beautiful and I couldn’t take enough pictures!

Exploring a Muslim village in China

Last month I had the opportunity to visit China and explore some of the most beautiful places within the province of Yinchuan. One of the activities on our itinerary was to explore the Muslim area of China and in this case in the province Yinchuan. Even though the Hui Muslims in China are in the minority, they’re very present in Ningxia which is the city that we visited. We were invited by a Hui Muslim family to their home and we got to experience their way of living. The woman of the house and her sister made us traditional snacks and we had delicious Ba Bao tea. This traditional tea consists many fresh herbs, spices and even goji berries!

Photo Diary: Phuket, Thailand

I really love Thailand, I could visit it every year without ever getting bored of it. It’s so beautiful, the food is amazing and people are genuinely so nice. Last week, Ryadh and I went to Phuket for a Muay Thai trainings camp. I’ve been doing Muay Thai (Thai boxing) for about 5 years now and it’s one of my passions but I’ve never really trained properly in Thailand so we thought, it’s about time we do. Thai boxing is a very intense work out itself but training outdoors in the heat and with the humidity was suicidal!

Review SK-II skincare products + GIVEAWAY!

SK-II is a luxury skincare brand that originates from Japan. It’s huge in Asia and in the US and Cate Blanchett and Kate Bosworth are the brand ambassadors. The brand has finally launched in Dubai this month! SK-II products are very exclusive in the region. Dubai is the only place in the Middle East where SK-II products are available. You can find the products in Paris Gallery in Dubai Mall and I also saw them at the Dubai duty free Airport. I did my research about the brand and I’ve read many reviews, I haven’t came across a single negative comment or review about it which is very impressive! Find out below what makes these products so amazing….
