This summer I traveled to Bali for the first time and I visited a few different places on the island. First, I went to Ubud and my second stop was in Seminyak where I spent a few days. I felt like each area in Bali is so different from another. Seminyak is kind of the party area and felt more like a city instead of an island. During my days there, I stayed at the Anantara resort which is located along the coastline. Since Seminyak is a busy place with lots of traffic and tourists, the Anantara resort is a nice little getaway from the busy streets. If you love a good party but still want to relax by the beach during the day, then I definitely recommend visiting Seminyak.
Even though it’s already cold and almost winter in most countries, I couldn’t help but share a summer outfit post because this was one of my favorite outfits. These pants are so comfortable and versatile, I can literally wear them with anything. I took these photos during my last trip to Bali. I could dress it up with heels and a nice blouse or I could pair them with sneakers and an oversized t-shirt for a more casual look.
I’m so happy that we’re getting closer to winter here in the UAE. I can’t wait for it to start raining again. I’m looking forward to the gloomy weather I had in Ubud. During my first week in Bali, I stayed for a couple of days in Ubud. This part of Bali is known for its rice fields and tropical showers (which I’ve experienced a lot during my stay). Despite the rain and gloomy weather, Bali was still so beautiful and I couldn’t take enough pictures!
I took so many pictures in Bali but I promise this is my last post! This was taken at Uluwatu beach during my stay at the Anantara resort. The water was a bit rough and it was difficult to swim because of the huge waves. It’s mainly a popular beach for surfers because of the big waves obviously. However, I did swim and I loved this beach – I really hope to visit Bali again and Uluwatu is going to be the first place I’m visiting.
I’m throwing it back to my Bali trip. I can’t believe this was my first time ever in Bali, what took me so long! I took these photos during golden hour in Uluwatu which is a popular beach for surfers because of the huge waves. Watching this sunset in real life was so magical, I really hope to visit Bali again soon…
Last month when I was in Bali, I stayed at the beautiful Anantara Resort in Uluwatu. This resort had the most beautiful entrance and I just had to take some photos there. It seemed like the perfect location to shoot wedding photos, the giant stairs and huge pots of beautiful colorful flowers looked stunning! It was quite hot during the day but it was definitely worth the photos.
I fell in love with this part of Bali, it’s so much more quiet and peaceful compared to the busy streets of Ubud and Seminyak. I’ve never been to Lombok (an island next to Bali) but judging by the pictures and videos I’ve seen, Uluwatu reminds me a lot of it. The empty beaches, high cliffs and huge waves were the perfect scenery to end my trip.
Last month I traveled to Bali for the first time and I had an amazing time! I traveled to different places within the island but my first stop was in Ubud. This area of Bali is known for its greenery and huge rice fields. The hotel I stayed at in Ubud was the Chedi Club Tanah Gajah. This property was built by a well respected Indonesian architect and art collector: “Hendra Hadiprana”. It once used to be his private residence but a few years ago he turned it into a resort and it has the most authentic Indonesian atmosphere you’ll ever find.
Living a plant based lifestyle in the UAE can be very challenging. Eating out has stopped being an option for me because its not as enjoyable anymore (since the only option I have is eating sides or a salad). Before I traveled to Bali, I heard so many positive things about the vegan & vegetarian spots there. I ate my way throughout the entire trip! The type of vegan food you’ll find there is unheard of here. From burgers, hot dogs to kebabs and so many desserts.
