Surfers beach in Uluwatu, Bali

I took so many pictures in Bali but I promise this is my last post! This was taken at Uluwatu beach during my stay at the Anantara resort. The water was a bit rough and it was difficult to swim because of the huge waves. It’s mainly a popular beach for surfers because of the big waves obviously. However, I did swim and I loved this beach – I really hope to visit Bali again and Uluwatu is going to be the first place I’m visiting.

My stay + review in Uluwatu, Bali

I fell in love with this part of Bali, it’s so much more quiet and peaceful compared to the busy streets of Ubud and Seminyak. I’ve never been to Lombok (an island next to Bali) but judging by the pictures and videos I’ve seen, Uluwatu reminds me a lot of it. The empty beaches, high cliffs and huge waves were the perfect scenery to end my trip.

How I spent summer in the UAE

As much as I love living in the UAE, summers here are unbearable! The heat & humidity are on a next level, being outside is unbearable, the ocean water is hot the only thing left to do is going to the malls. I’m trying to spend as much time outdoors even though it’s challenging because I don’t want to spend the entire summer breathing AC air, day in, day out 🙁

Tumblr Thursday: Summer feelings

It’s officially Summer which means that it’s going to be SUPER hot in the UAE. It has its good and bad sides, the good side is that it’s beach season again and the downside of it is that it can get really hot which is unbearable here. I’m currently planning my summer vacation and I got a bit inspired on Tumblr by all the beachy and summer posts so I’m sharing some of my favorite photos here. Like always, you’ll find these images individually on my Tumblr page!

Photo Diary: Phuket, Thailand

I really love Thailand, I could visit it every year without ever getting bored of it. It’s so beautiful, the food is amazing and people are genuinely so nice. Last week, Ryadh and I went to Phuket for a Muay Thai trainings camp. I’ve been doing Muay Thai (Thai boxing) for about 5 years now and it’s one of my passions but I’ve never really trained properly in Thailand so we thought, it’s about time we do. Thai boxing is a very intense work out itself but training outdoors in the heat and with the humidity was suicidal!

My stay + review in the Maldives

Last month, Ryadh and I traveled to Maldives for the first time. It was our 5th year wedding anniversary so we really wanted to go somewhere special and what perfect place to spend your wedding anniversary than in Maldives? I posted a travel video as well of my Maldives trip so if you haven’t check it out yet then click here and make sure to subscribe to my channel as well! To see any of my Instagram travel posts, make sure to check out #NajlaTravels. The resort we stayed at was the “Adaaran Prestige Vadoo”. I’ve been receiving a lot of interest on Snapchat about the resort so here’s my feedback of my stay at the resort.

What to pack for a beach vacation

The reason why I’m doing this post is because Ryadh (my husband) and I recently got back from a beach vacation to Sri Lanka. Everything he packed for that trip just didn’t make any sense (LOL). Mainly because he didn’t really know what to pack and of course it also has to do with men just being too careless about what they’re packing to a trip. Then I realized perhaps there are more people that have no clue what to pack for a beach vacation, so I decided to break it down for you from my personal experience.

A Bahraini getaway!

During the month of October I got to stay at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Bahrain and it was my first time to visit the country. I haven’t seen much of Bahrain other then the roads to and from the airport so I’m definitely hoping to come back soon and explore the country a bit more.
