Wishing for a pill to magically turn your skin, hair and nails into picture perfect is every woman’s dream. Even though that doesn’t exist, there are certainly supplements that can help to boost our beauty routine. Taking supplements regularly is basically a short cut to healthier skin, hair & nails. Beauty supplements generally don’t look any different than your vitamins. However, they also come in powder formulas, oils and liquids depending on the specific supplement you choose. Think of them as a type of supplement that has the added benefits of improving your skin, hair or nails thanks to a specific dosage of nutrients and minerals.
Cruelty free and vegan beauty products are on the rise! People are becoming more conscious on what kind of brands and products they’re using, not only vegans. You’re probably wondering, what is a vegan product exactly? They’re products that are free from honey, beeswax, lanolin, collagen, albumen, shark squaline, carmine, cholesterol, gelatin and other animal derived ingredients. Most importantly, vegan products are never tested on animals. Surprisingly, there are many high quality and very effective vegan brands in the market. These are some of the best vegan beauty products in the market
It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a new, crazy make-up trend but this is a trend that has been popping up a lot on my Pinterest feed and I love it! It’s such a cool idea and very artistic. I noticed that in most of these images, the “flower make-up” is being combined mostly with dewy skin and glossy eyes. I’m seeing variation of different types of flowers and even dried flowers are being used. I would assume that the flowers are being stuck by either the gloss that’s already on the face or with some sort of lash glue. I’m definitely going to try out this trend on myself and I’m so curious to find out whether or not I’m going to nail it. Would you try this trend?
I finally got my hands on the most anticipated make-up launch of the year: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. I love Rihanna and everything she does, whatever she touches turns into gold so I HAD to have these products because I knew they’re going to be good. I attended the press launch yesterday at Sephora in Mall of the Emirates before it officially launched. The collection features 40 foundations which is so incredible! Women of all color love make-up and it can be difficult for many women with darker complexions to find their foundation shade. It’s great that she created a line that’ll feel all women included. The products are incredible and I can’t wait to get more highlighters. Below you’ll find the swatches and my full review. Also, important side note: Fenty Beauty is 100% cruelty free, YAY!
Living a plant based lifestyle in the UAE can be very challenging. Eating out has stopped being an option for me because its not as enjoyable anymore (since the only option I have is eating sides or a salad). Before I traveled to Bali, I heard so many positive things about the vegan & vegetarian spots there. I ate my way throughout the entire trip! The type of vegan food you’ll find there is unheard of here. From burgers, hot dogs to kebabs and so many desserts.
It’s my second time to visit this branch of Talise spa, everytime I’m there it reminds me of Marrakech but with the tropical elements of Asia. The spa area is really beautiful and on sunny days you’ll be able to enjoy the pool as well. Talise Spa has so many different treatments but the treatments I had done were the “Full Body Scrub” of 30 minutes and the “Margys Age Embrace Facial” of 60 minutes.
It always seizes to amaze me how much time flies. Just yesterday we stepped into 2017 and I’m already looking at the beauty trends of 2018, two thousand eighteen people!! It even sounds bizarre saying it out loud. Anyway, I’ve gathered together a few beauty looks for you that really stood out to me during the last fashion week. Once you’ll scroll through the images you’ll notice some major throwback looks that are going to be trendy again. My personal favorite trends are the dramatic bottom lashes and the peachy cheeks, beautiful!
Whenever I think of spring colors, I always think of pastel colors for some reason. I also usually tend to go for pastel nail colors during spring even though I’m not even a pastel kinda girl. I recently did some spring cleaning and I gathered all my pastel nail colors and kept those that I still love to wear. Below you’ll find all my favorite pastel nail colors that I usually wearing during spring.
I always look forward to festival season, especially Coachella (not that I’ll be attending) But, I love seeing the creative make-up looks and the fashionable bohemian looks. I had never really tried “festival make-up” on myself so I thought I’ll give it a try. I really enjoyed creating this look and I’m pretty happy with the end result too. Product details are listed below.
I’m currently spring cleaning and re-organizing my closet and make-up drawers to get rid of things that I no longer use or wear. But also to create space for new things (which is my favorite part). My birthday is coming (on the 28th) so I’m already looking for inspiration as to what I wanna wear on my birthday. When it comes to make-up looks, I’m still really into glowing, dewy skin and glossy lips. However, since summer is coming up I’m trying to experiment more with different lip colors – mainly peachy and orange hues.
