This summer I traveled to Bali for the first time and I visited a few different places on the island. First, I went to Ubud and my second stop was in Seminyak where I spent a few days. I felt like each area in Bali is so different from another. Seminyak is kind of the party area and felt more like a city instead of an island. During my days there, I stayed at the Anantara resort which is located along the coastline. Since Seminyak is a busy place with lots of traffic and tourists, the Anantara resort is a nice little getaway from the busy streets. If you love a good party but still want to relax by the beach during the day, then I definitely recommend visiting Seminyak.
I took so many pictures in Bali but I promise this is my last post! This was taken at Uluwatu beach during my stay at the Anantara resort. The water was a bit rough and it was difficult to swim because of the huge waves. It’s mainly a popular beach for surfers because of the big waves obviously. However, I did swim and I loved this beach – I really hope to visit Bali again and Uluwatu is going to be the first place I’m visiting.
Last month when I was in Bali, I stayed at the beautiful Anantara Resort in Uluwatu. This resort had the most beautiful entrance and I just had to take some photos there. It seemed like the perfect location to shoot wedding photos, the giant stairs and huge pots of beautiful colorful flowers looked stunning! It was quite hot during the day but it was definitely worth the photos.
I never thought that I could pull off white pants especially not a tight white jumpsuit. To my surprise, when I ordered it online and tried it on, it fitted perfectly and it’s the only thing that I want to wear now! I paired it with a nude colored trench coat because it’s a bit see through from the back and a gold chain belt – I feel like J.LO in this jumpsuit, ha! I kept my make-up simple, just the usual: bronzer, nude lipgloss and highlight.
I’ve got so many photos from my recent trip to Amsterdam and I wanted to share them with you. This is the last post of AMS, I promise! I was so lucky to experience sunny weather was great while I was there. It’s usually very unpredictable, especially during April & May.
I really love Thailand, I could visit it every year without ever getting bored of it. It’s so beautiful, the food is amazing and people are genuinely so nice. Last week, Ryadh and I went to Phuket for a Muay Thai trainings camp. I’ve been doing Muay Thai (Thai boxing) for about 5 years now and it’s one of my passions but I’ve never really trained properly in Thailand so we thought, it’s about time we do. Thai boxing is a very intense work out itself but training outdoors in the heat and with the humidity was suicidal!
I think it’s been no secret that I love Institut Esthederm products. Their products are very effective and very straight forward. Every time I try a new product from the brand, I can see a difference in my skin either immediately or within 10 days which is super fast and just proves how effective it is. I’ve been using their products for a couple of years now and recently I got to sit down with Aurelia Duchatelle who is their international skin care expert. She analyzed my skin and she gave me so many helpful tips and tricks that I had to share with you guys. One of the products she talked about was the “Cellular Water Spray” and she shared some tips on how to use the spray in several different ways.
The other day I posted a minute tutorial on my Snapchat & Instagram stories on how I take flat-lay photos and what steps I follow before posting a high quality photo on social media. I got a few requests to share the video on my blog as well so that you guys can watch the video back.
Just the thought of it really scared me when Ryadh proposed the idea of going camping. Where am I suppose to shower in the morning and how am I going to use my body scrub? How am I going to use the toilet when I suddenly have to pee at night? And how am I going to do my bedtime skincare routine with limited water? All of these questions kept me from going for a long time until one day I thought; screw it, I’m just going to do it because its a once in a lifetime experience. Turns out, I LOVE camping now!
I recently went camping with Ryadh (hubby) & Ilyas (my brother) and we went to Jebel Akhdar in Oman. I’ve been camping before in the desert but this was the first time that I went camping a bit further away from home so that was exciting but also a bit scary at the same time. I didn’t really know what to expect up in the mountains, it can get pretty cold at night but I wasn’t expecting the weather to drop almost 20 degrees lower than sea level. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this trip is to pack thicker and more blankets because we were FREE-ZING!
