I’ve got so many photos from my recent trip to Amsterdam and I wanted to share them with you. This is the last post of AMS, I promise! I was so lucky to experience sunny weather was great while I was there. It’s usually very unpredictable, especially during April & May.
I really love Thailand, I could visit it every year without ever getting bored of it. It’s so beautiful, the food is amazing and people are genuinely so nice. Last week, Ryadh and I went to Phuket for a Muay Thai trainings camp. I’ve been doing Muay Thai (Thai boxing) for about 5 years now and it’s one of my passions but I’ve never really trained properly in Thailand so we thought, it’s about time we do. Thai boxing is a very intense work out itself but training outdoors in the heat and with the humidity was suicidal!
I think it’s been no secret that I love Institut Esthederm products. Their products are very effective and very straight forward. Every time I try a new product from the brand, I can see a difference in my skin either immediately or within 10 days which is super fast and just proves how effective it is. I’ve been using their products for a couple of years now and recently I got to sit down with Aurelia Duchatelle who is their international skin care expert. She analyzed my skin and she gave me so many helpful tips and tricks that I had to share with you guys. One of the products she talked about was the “Cellular Water Spray” and she shared some tips on how to use the spray in several different ways.
The other day I posted a minute tutorial on my Snapchat & Instagram stories on how I take flat-lay photos and what steps I follow before posting a high quality photo on social media. I got a few requests to share the video on my blog as well so that you guys can watch the video back.
Just the thought of it really scared me when Ryadh proposed the idea of going camping. Where am I suppose to shower in the morning and how am I going to use my body scrub? How am I going to use the toilet when I suddenly have to pee at night? And how am I going to do my bedtime skincare routine with limited water? All of these questions kept me from going for a long time until one day I thought; screw it, I’m just going to do it because its a once in a lifetime experience. Turns out, I LOVE camping now!
I recently went camping with Ryadh (hubby) & Ilyas (my brother) and we went to Jebel Akhdar in Oman. I’ve been camping before in the desert but this was the first time that I went camping a bit further away from home so that was exciting but also a bit scary at the same time. I didn’t really know what to expect up in the mountains, it can get pretty cold at night but I wasn’t expecting the weather to drop almost 20 degrees lower than sea level. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this trip is to pack thicker and more blankets because we were FREE-ZING!
I hope everyone is enjoying their last days of 2016. These next few days I’ll just take it easy and get ready for 2017. My brother is in town so I’m super excited to spend new years with him! I’ve been getting so many requests to share my music playlist so I thought I’ll create a little playlist for you guys that’s mobile friendly then you can listen to it all the time.
I feel like the 70’s fashion & beauty trends are slowly coming back again. I noticed this the most when I was in London last summer. Disco glam, bohemian chic, hippie style, clumpy lashes, oversized colored glasses, vintage denim, messy beach waves and velvet textures are all becoming super popular again. I was really drawn to these images when I scrolled through my Tumblr feed, they give me major summer wanderlust.
As you guys may have followed the process through my blog & social media, I changed my hair color from pitch black to white blonde. It took me a good year to really get that full head of white blonde since I had to keep getting highlights done every three months or so. I still get nervous every time I have to get my roots done because of how damaging bleaching is to the hair. It took me a while to understand how to take care of my hair, before, during and after bleaching it. If you have curly or coarse hair, your hair is naturally very dry which means you have to be extra careful with hair coloring, especially with bleaching. Over the past year, I’ve lost quite a big amount of hair due to breakage, simply because I was doing everything wrong during the entire bleaching process. I guess I’ve learned it the hard way because I wasn’t informed good enough nor have I done enough research on how to look after your hair after bleaching. Therefore, I want …
Happy Thursday! Today it’s martyrs day in the UAE and tomorrow it’s national day, which means; extra long weekend, yay! How are you guys spending the day off today? I have no plans so far, I might go to the beach, hopefully it won’t be too crowded. Today I’m sharing my very first Tumblr Thursday post! I get most of my inspiration from many different social media platforms but Tumblr is definitly my favorite place to look for new inspiration. I love sharing the newest trends & inspiration with you guys so I’ve decided to do a weekly “Tumblr Thursday” post where I share everything that I find inspiring. You’ll find all the individual pictures (& more) on my Tumblr page.
