I never thought that I could pull off white pants especially not a tight white jumpsuit. To my surprise, when I ordered it online and tried it on, it fitted perfectly and it’s the only thing that I want to wear now! I paired it with a nude colored trench coat because it’s a bit see through from the back and a gold chain belt – I feel like J.LO in this jumpsuit, ha! I kept my make-up simple, just the usual: bronzer, nude lipgloss and highlight.
As much as I love living in the UAE, summers here are unbearable! The heat & humidity are on a next level, being outside is unbearable, the ocean water is hot the only thing left to do is going to the malls. I’m trying to spend as much time outdoors even though it’s challenging because I don’t want to spend the entire summer breathing AC air, day in, day out 🙁
I finally got my hands on the most anticipated make-up launch of the year: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. I love Rihanna and everything she does, whatever she touches turns into gold so I HAD to have these products because I knew they’re going to be good. I attended the press launch yesterday at Sephora in Mall of the Emirates before it officially launched. The collection features 40 foundations which is so incredible! Women of all color love make-up and it can be difficult for many women with darker complexions to find their foundation shade. It’s great that she created a line that’ll feel all women included. The products are incredible and I can’t wait to get more highlighters. Below you’ll find the swatches and my full review. Also, important side note: Fenty Beauty is 100% cruelty free, YAY!
Happy weekend! I’m so glad that the weather is starting to cool down, this summer seemed endless! In this post I want to share a few photos of me wearing one of my current favorite dresses. I’m usually not the type that wears dresses a lot but the material of this dress in particular is all I want to wear. The cool material is perfect for this weather! My hair usually doesn’t react well to this humidity but surprisingly, my curls have been on “fleek” lately.
The other day I got to attend the launch event of dr. Murad skincare products in Dubai. I’ve heard and read many great things about the brand so I’m excited for the launch. The breakfast event was inspired by the healthy vegan life since it’s an L.A. based brand. The food was amazing! Anyone that knows me well, knows that I’m addicted to acai bowls. I’ve never had green acai bowl before but it was really good.
It’s my second time to visit this branch of Talise spa, everytime I’m there it reminds me of Marrakech but with the tropical elements of Asia. The spa area is really beautiful and on sunny days you’ll be able to enjoy the pool as well. Talise Spa has so many different treatments but the treatments I had done were the “Full Body Scrub” of 30 minutes and the “Margys Age Embrace Facial” of 60 minutes.
Last Tuesday (28th of March) it was my birthday, whoop whoop! I kind of spread out my birthday celebrations over the entire week because Ryadh and I both had some work responsibilities so we couldn’t really celebrate on the day itself – however, I did enjoy all the other days. we did a bunch of different things, the weekend prior to my birthday we went for a quick getaway to Abu Dhabi and the weekend after my birthday, Ryadh surprised me with a helicopter tour over Dubai and it was AWESOME!!
I hope everyone is enjoying their last days of 2016. These next few days I’ll just take it easy and get ready for 2017. My brother is in town so I’m super excited to spend new years with him! I’ve been getting so many requests to share my music playlist so I thought I’ll create a little playlist for you guys that’s mobile friendly then you can listen to it all the time.
The other day, Ryadh, Ilyas and I went to the desert and tried out the quads for the first time. It was such a cool experience and I can’t wait to ride the quads again. If you live in the UAE or if you’re coming here on vacation then its definitely worth trying out!
The other day I decided to explore areas of Dubai that I never really visit. I mean, I’ve lived in Dubai for so long and I’m embarrassed to say that there are still places that I have never visited before. I’ve developed a new appreciation for Dubai, especially the older, less touristy spots. Other than the usual Downtown, DIFC, JBR and Jumeirah, you’d be surprised how “Instagramy” the older part of Dubai is. SHOP MY LOOK
