If there would be an award for worst-nail-painter (is that even a word?), it would probably go to me. I’m so bad at painting my nails; it’s something so simple yet I always end up messing up my nails. Besides, I have no clue how to get rid of dry cuticles other than using way too much cuticle oil… I’ll just leave that to the manicurist the next time I visit a nail salon. Anyways, lately I’m really into nude nail colors. It goes well with almost every outfit and make-up look, besides, it looks super chic. Making this the sister of the original Color Lip Envy with half the amount of shades and half the amount of pigmentation for those who prefer a lighter coverage!
Happy 2nd day of Spring! March is my favourite month of the year because it’s my birthday on the 28th so I’m counting down the days! Whoop, whoop!… So, over the weekend I did something really exciting, I’ve been testing out some of the latest fragrances which I think are Spring-worthy perfumes. The selection varies from fresh to very bold/intense fragrances and each perfume fits a certain time of the day.

Last month, my time line on social media was JAM PACKED with the announcement of Kendall Jenner being the new face of Estee Lauder. Her famous family and well connected brother in law (Kanye West) have no doubt been an asset to her vast growing career. I think it’s an interesting choice for Estee Lauder to choose her as the new face. It’s obviously a good move for the brand because of her huge influence and the fan base she has. However, I was surprised by the fact how young they chose their new face to be. I think she was the perfect fit for the Balmain campaign and she looked absolutely stunning in it but, personally I believe she’s a bit to young to be the face of an iconic, high-end beauty brand such as Estee Lauder.
