Visiting China was such an amazing experience. I’ve seen many places within the province of Yinchuan but this experience was so amazing. I got to visit a huge flower garden called: Jinshadao Resort and they have this giant lavender field. I was expecting it to be busy and overcrowded but since it’s such a huge area, the crowd isn’t very noticeable. The lavender flowers only blossom once a year and I’m glad I got to see it 🙂 Click here to see my previous post of China where I explored the Islamic area including some portrait shots of the locals.
It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a new, crazy make-up trend but this is a trend that has been popping up a lot on my Pinterest feed and I love it! It’s such a cool idea and very artistic. I noticed that in most of these images, the “flower make-up” is being combined mostly with dewy skin and glossy eyes. I’m seeing variation of different types of flowers and even dried flowers are being used. I would assume that the flowers are being stuck by either the gloss that’s already on the face or with some sort of lash glue. I’m definitely going to try out this trend on myself and I’m so curious to find out whether or not I’m going to nail it. Would you try this trend?
Last month when I was in Bali, I stayed at the beautiful Anantara Resort in Uluwatu. This resort had the most beautiful entrance and I just had to take some photos there. It seemed like the perfect location to shoot wedding photos, the giant stairs and huge pots of beautiful colorful flowers looked stunning! It was quite hot during the day but it was definitely worth the photos.
Sweet floral scents are my go to perfumes during summer. I love sweet fragrances however, I prefer floral scents over fragrances that smell like desserts. I usually tend to wear sweet fragrances more during the summer season than during winter. I’ve made a list of my favourite sweet scents that won’t make you smell like a chocolate bar but more like a sweet flower instead. These are my top 5 picks of sweet fragrances for summer
