For this look, I tried something different for a change. I went for copper and rose gold tones around the eyes & a smudged eyeliner a la Kylie Jenner. Lately I’m really into glossy lips (particularly NARS lip glosses), paired with a nude toned lipliner. You’ll find all product details I used for this look below! xx
MAC Cosmetics has launched a very impressive product recently, the Modern Twist Kajal Liners. The small tip is supposed to be an “easy-glide formula” that has a silky, soft texture which is perfect for lining the sensitive waterline. I put these kajal liners to the test and here’s what I think…
The moment I’ve been waiting for… For all the beauty brands to finally launch their Spring collection!
I’m a huge fan of MAC’s Viva Glam collaborations. The combination of a lipstick + glittery gloss always creates the ultimate lip party. With the latest Viva Glam edition, MAC Cosmetics has teamed up with Ariana Grande for Spring 2016. I was really surprised to see the brand has decided to go for such a bold colour with their Ariana Grande collab. I’ve never really seen her with a lip colour this bold before, so I was curious to find out more about the formula and pigmentation.
I’ve been so privileged to attend Francesca Tolot’s for the second time! Last year was in Milan and this year it was in our very own Dubai. I’m such a big fan of her work and I felt so honoured to interview her as well for the 2nd time. In my last interview with Francesca, we’ve talked more about her career and the celebrities she’s been working with – this time we’ve talked about make-up only! She shares her favourite tips, tricks and trends. You’ve probably seen her work on Beyonce in her music videos from the past 12 years, on Charlize Theron, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and the list goes on and on…. Last week I got the chance to attend my 2nd masterclass hosted by the legendary Francesca Tolot in collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. The looks created by Francesca and local MAC artists were absolutely STUNNING! Below you’ll find the gorgeous make-up looks from the masterclass. Recently I attended the annual MAC trends event where the hottest make-up trends for Autumn/Winter 2015/2016 were being showcased. The main trend for next season is all about dressing the face again. From glamorous and statement looks to tribal and animalistic looks. Make-up is being taken to the extreme and it’s about celebrating strong, powerful and influential women. Make-up is back and it’s making an appearance in a diverse and cool way inspired by street style. The edgy and cool make-up looks are being inspired from the streets of London, New York, Paris and Milan. Its not about the actual make-up anymore it’s all about how it influences the hair, clothes and accessories and how it compliments each other.
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of those monthly beauty favourites. As I was collecting all of my favourite beauty products of the month I noticed that everything I picked out was accidentally in pink!
Recently I sat down with Mariam Khairallah who’s the regional make-up artist for MAC Cosmetics Middle East. She explained the purpose of each mascara and for which eye shape it’s suitable for. I tried out MAC mascara’s that I’ve never tried before simply because I didn’t think they were suitable for my lashes. Little did I know! I tried out their smallest mascara with the most tiny brush and it transformed my lashes into long, feathery, thick lashes!
This collection hasn’t stayed unnoticed ever since MAC has announced to launch a collection inspired by Disney character; Cinderella. I can’t remember the last time when I really, really liked the full limited edition collection by MAC. There always a few products that do better than others, but this entire collection is just WOW! I loveeee the fact that they’ve launched these eye glosses, it makes this collection very different and unique from the previous ones. The blue packaging however is not really my cup of tea but hey, it’s a Disney collection after all…
