I love trying out new make-up looks and stepping out of my comfort zone. I wanted to do something a little different and heavier from what I usually do so I chose to add a green detail to this look. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning while applying the green eyeshadow but luckily the end result turned out great (in my opinion). I did the whole thing; foundation, contour, lashes, eyeliner… Just a full face of make-up.
I’m really into clean make-up looks lately; no false lashes, glowy skin, glossy lips and minimal contour. I think it’s a versatile look that can be worn both during day and night. I tried a new foundation for this look & I can’t believe it took me this long to finally use it. I have a feeling it’s going to become my favorite from now on. It also photographs really well!
It always seizes to amaze me how much time flies. Just yesterday we stepped into 2017 and I’m already looking at the beauty trends of 2018, two thousand eighteen people!! It even sounds bizarre saying it out loud. Anyway, I’ve gathered together a few beauty looks for you that really stood out to me during the last fashion week. Once you’ll scroll through the images you’ll notice some major throwback looks that are going to be trendy again. My personal favorite trends are the dramatic bottom lashes and the peachy cheeks, beautiful!
I always look forward to festival season, especially Coachella (not that I’ll be attending) But, I love seeing the creative make-up looks and the fashionable bohemian looks. I had never really tried “festival make-up” on myself so I thought I’ll give it a try. I really enjoyed creating this look and I’m pretty happy with the end result too. Product details are listed below.
Happy new year everyone, I hope you all had a great new years eve! Mine wasn’t very exciting, I accidentally fell asleep right before midnight so I missed all the fireworks. 2016 has gone by so quickly and I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings, hopefully some positivity and peace into this world. Looking back at my #MOTD’s I can definitely tell that glossy lips and big hoops are really my thing. I can’t wait to create more content and share lots of make-up inspo with you all.
I hope you guys liked my last “Tumblr Thursday” post, can’t wait to share my next post with you this Thursday. On another note, I’ve decided to also do regular posts on new trends and what’s popular at the moment – mainly beauty related. A trend that’s becoming really popular is the holographic texture: whether its on the nails, hair, clothes etc. Below you’ll find some of my favorite images, you can find each image in this post on my Tumblr page I’m very active on there as well so make sure to follow me 🙂
During the festive season it’s only natural to wear red lipstick on evening gatherings. Whether you’re into burgundy, red browns, fire reds or red lip glosses, they all instantly transform into a glamorous look. My personal go-to lip color is usually brown or a nude gloss, however I do have a few favorite reds at the moment that I love to wear whenever I want to change my look. These lip colors look great during the holiday season and they can be paired with many different eye looks, below you’ll find my favorite reds as well as different textures.
For this look, I tried something different for a change. I went for copper and rose gold tones around the eyes & a smudged eyeliner a la Kylie Jenner. Lately I’m really into glossy lips (particularly NARS lip glosses), paired with a nude toned lipliner. You’ll find all product details I used for this look below! xx
MAC Cosmetics has launched a very impressive product recently, the Modern Twist Kajal Liners. The small tip is supposed to be an “easy-glide formula” that has a silky, soft texture which is perfect for lining the sensitive waterline. I put these kajal liners to the test and here’s what I think…
Smashbox has teamed up with artist Sandigold to create a collection for Summer 2014. I was happy to hear about this collaboration because Santigold has such a cool sense of style and she’s so talented! Santigold created this vivid an playful colour range, influenced by her strong creative sense. The collection features Santigold’s collage art which makes it extra unique!
