It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a new, crazy make-up trend but this is a trend that has been popping up a lot on my Pinterest feed and I love it! It’s such a cool idea and very artistic. I noticed that in most of these images, the “flower make-up” is being combined mostly with dewy skin and glossy eyes. I’m seeing variation of different types of flowers and even dried flowers are being used. I would assume that the flowers are being stuck by either the gloss that’s already on the face or with some sort of lash glue. I’m definitely going to try out this trend on myself and I’m so curious to find out whether or not I’m going to nail it. Would you try this trend?
Happy Friday loves! I hope everyone is going to have a great weekend. For this week’s MOTD (make-up of the day), I wanted to share something different. As you know, I’m a big fan of neutral colors but I never really use grey tones so I decided to use that for this look. It was really easy creating this look, I only used 3 different eyeshadows; a light grey color, a darker transition color and a shimmery shadow on the lids. Below you’ll find all the product details I used to create this look.
My inspiration for this month is a bit all over the place. There are many different colors, moods and aesthetics in this post. Lately I’ve been slightly obsessed with Korean beauty & fashion and you’ll see it a lot in this post. I always had a weakness for gold chains and layering necklaces. There’s also a variety of different make-up looks, from artistic eye make-up, korean beauty to everyday wearable looks.
It’s always been known that orange eye make-up doesn’t look flattering when you have brown eyes and only those with blue eyes can pull it off. I disagree with that, I love orange eyeshadow colors. In fact, as someone who likes to experiment with colors, orange shades are my favorite.
The other day I experimented with the new FENTY make-up products. I went all in with the #TrophyWife gold highlighter, I just want to bathe in it! Since I went for a gold look, I paired it with a denim jacket & some gold accessories and I love this combo! Underneath the denim jacket, I’m wearing my favorite and most comfortable black jumpsuit, all product and outfit details are listed below. I recently got my hands on the much anticipated “Everlasting Lip Liners” by Kat von D. I’m a huge fan of KVD make-up, their products never disappoint and I never find them misleading wether it’s by the names of the products or the hype around it. The lip liners collection features 30 shades in total. They range from a wide selection of colors, almost half of the collection features nude shades for different types of complexion. Despite the fact that this collection features many nude shades, I find them very versatile. The darker “nude” shades can be great as a base for medium brown and deep dark complexions. For the lighter & fairer complexions, these can be used as brown, taupe or rosewood liners.
I’m so glad that I can wear make-up again without my face melting off. It’s still quite hot in Dubai but the weather is definitely starting to cool off. As you already may know, I love stepping out of my comfort zone and trying out new looks. I thought I’d create a warm and bold look that’s suitable for Autumn/Fall. I was so inspired by the colors and aesthetics from my last Tumblr Thursday post however, I did give this look my own spin to it. Below you’ll find all the products listed that I used to create this look, including the lip combo.
I finally got my hands on the most anticipated make-up launch of the year: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. I love Rihanna and everything she does, whatever she touches turns into gold so I HAD to have these products because I knew they’re going to be good. I attended the press launch yesterday at Sephora in Mall of the Emirates before it officially launched. The collection features 40 foundations which is so incredible! Women of all color love make-up and it can be difficult for many women with darker complexions to find their foundation shade. It’s great that she created a line that’ll feel all women included. The products are incredible and I can’t wait to get more highlighters. Below you’ll find the swatches and my full review. Also, important side note: Fenty Beauty is 100% cruelty free, YAY!
It’s that time of the year again, glamorous gala season has kicked off at the MET gala in New York City. Every year I look forward to the event season to see what make-up and hair styles celebrities are wearing. I definitely have a few favorites this year. I loved Priyanka Chopra’s overall look, including her hair and make-up. Lilly Collins has nailed it and I absolutely love Taylor Hill’s pink eyeshadow look.
I’m currently spring cleaning and re-organizing my closet and make-up drawers to get rid of things that I no longer use or wear. But also to create space for new things (which is my favorite part). My birthday is coming (on the 28th) so I’m already looking for inspiration as to what I wanna wear on my birthday. When it comes to make-up looks, I’m still really into glowing, dewy skin and glossy lips. However, since summer is coming up I’m trying to experiment more with different lip colors – mainly peachy and orange hues.
