I finally got my hands on the most anticipated make-up launch of the year: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. I love Rihanna and everything she does, whatever she touches turns into gold so I HAD to have these products because I knew they’re going to be good. I attended the press launch yesterday at Sephora in Mall of the Emirates before it officially launched. The collection features 40 foundations which is so incredible! Women of all color love make-up and it can be difficult for many women with darker complexions to find their foundation shade. It’s great that she created a line that’ll feel all women included. The products are incredible and I can’t wait to get more highlighters. Below you’ll find the swatches and my full review. Also, important side note: Fenty Beauty is 100% cruelty free, YAY!
I love to scroll through my Pinterest feed and find out what the latest viral trends are. I recently came across this creative lip art: marble lips! I can’t even imagine how difficult it is to create a marble print, let alone on your lips.
One of the highlights during my recent trip to Amsterdam was the yoga class with a stunning view of the city. I’m not really a yoga type because I’m so unbalanced however, it felt good stretching in the morning – especially with a view like this.
Swatching make-up products is one of my favorite thing to do. When I got the full range of these high pencils last week at the Hung Vanngo masterclass, I couldn’t wait to swatch them! Usually I’m not that big on eye pencils but after trying these colors, I’m excited to start using more eye pencils again.
In case you missed it, Smashbox has released a matte lipstick collection in 20 beautiful shades. In my previous post “New beauty launches I’m excited to try” I featured two lipsticks from this collection. I mentioned that I would do a separate post with swatches of all shades. Below you’ll find hand & lip swatches + my review on the new “Always on liquid lipsticks”.
Lately I’m really into simple and minimalistic nail art. Rose gold nail polish seems to be really taking over Pinterest. I love the super simple rose gold stripes over a transparent base coat combined with double stacked fine rings. Marble nail art is also getting popular by the day as well as thin, white stripes. I’ve explored some new inspiration on one of my favorite platforms: Pinterest and I wanted to show you the most popular designs that are to-die-for!
For this look, I tried something different for a change. I went for copper and rose gold tones around the eyes & a smudged eyeliner a la Kylie Jenner. Lately I’m really into glossy lips (particularly NARS lip glosses), paired with a nude toned lipliner. You’ll find all product details I used for this look below! xx
Another beautiful collection released by NARS Cosmetics. Only a few days ago I got the chance to play around with these products and I’m definitely in love with this collection. I’ve always loved NARS lip glosses, I think the quality is great and their nude shades are to-die-for! So I’m glad they’ve added two more nude shades to this collection. In this post you’ll find a proper preview + swatches of this collection and… commentary on the products by the man François Nars himself!
You think you’ve seen it all with Jo Malone until out of nowhere they drop the most luxurious collection of colognes with each individual scent being completely different from another. The “Rare Tea” collection features colognes that are inspired by, you guessed it… Tea. Not ordinary tea but from Japanese foothills to China to the Himalayas and for the first time; infused straight from the leaf into refined fragrances.
MAC Cosmetics has launched a very impressive product recently, the Modern Twist Kajal Liners. The small tip is supposed to be an “easy-glide formula” that has a silky, soft texture which is perfect for lining the sensitive waterline. I put these kajal liners to the test and here’s what I think…
