Happy Friday, wishing everyone a great weekend ahead. Can you believe it’s almost 2018? Time passes so quickly! Last week I wore this look on a day full of meetings, sometimes I’m a bit clueless what I should wear to formal meetings without looking too official and formal, so I kept it a bit casual and simple. Find out more outfit details below.
Happy Friday loves! I hope everyone is going to have a great weekend. For this week’s MOTD (make-up of the day), I wanted to share something different. As you know, I’m a big fan of neutral colors but I never really use grey tones so I decided to use that for this look. It was really easy creating this look, I only used 3 different eyeshadows; a light grey color, a darker transition color and a shimmery shadow on the lids. Below you’ll find all the product details I used to create this look.
I’m so stoked for Fall this year, I think Autumn is such a cozy time (even more so than winter). I’ve created a mood board with everything that inspires me when it comes to colors, make-up trends, fashion outfits etc. I’m really into mustard yellow and brown tones for the Fall season. I can’t wait to wear brown lipsticks and warm eyeshadow colors! Even though it might take a while to be able to wear winter clothes in Dubai, I’m already looking at the new fashion trends for coats and knitwear.
I love trying out new make-up looks and stepping out of my comfort zone. I wanted to do something a little different and heavier from what I usually do so I chose to add a green detail to this look. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning while applying the green eyeshadow but luckily the end result turned out great (in my opinion). I did the whole thing; foundation, contour, lashes, eyeliner… Just a full face of make-up.
There’s no denying that brown lipsticks have been popular these past few years and I hope the trend won’t be dying anytime soon. I personally love wearing brown lipsticks, not only because the 90’s is my favorite era when it comes to beauty and fashion trends but also because its very wearable on a daily basis. If you want to over-line your lips without it looking too obvious then brown hues are the perfect shade for that.
After creating a budget friendly gift guide for the holidays, I also wanted to do a luxurious version for those who may have a bigger budget to spend on gifts. These are definitely items I would love to receive as a gift (ahumm, hint Ryadh). You’ll find some of my favorite places to get beauty products, jewelry, shoes, make-up tools, bags, candles and the list goes on. If you prefer a more budget friendly guide, then click here
If there would be an award for worst-nail-painter (is that even a word?), it would probably go to me. I’m so bad at painting my nails; it’s something so simple yet I always end up messing up my nails. Besides, I have no clue how to get rid of dry cuticles other than using way too much cuticle oil… I’ll just leave that to the manicurist the next time I visit a nail salon. Anyways, lately I’m really into nude nail colors. It goes well with almost every outfit and make-up look, besides, it looks super chic. I wanted to share some of my go-to nude nail colors that I’m currently loving!
As a make-up junkie, its hard to choose a favourite product. If there’s something in the make-up market that I love, its palettes! As a make-up artist and for someone that travels a lot, palettes are my holy grail in life! You have everything you need in one palette, its light weighted and its compact. I’ve lined up some of my FAVOURITE neutral palettes at the moment because, a woman can never have too many neutral palettes!
Bobbi Brown has launched a new collection for Fall 2013 called ‘Navy & Nude Collection’. Ok, first of all I want to say that I’m SO in love with these new products! I have been using these products (especially the eyeshadow palette) ever since I got them! They’re perfect to create a daily and evening make-up look!
