It’s that time of the year again, glamorous gala season has kicked off at the MET gala in New York City. Every year I look forward to the event season to see what make-up and hair styles celebrities are wearing. I definitely have a few favorites this year. I loved Priyanka Chopra’s overall look, including her hair and make-up. Lilly Collins has nailed it and I absolutely love Taylor Hill’s pink eyeshadow look.
Yesterday was one of those days where I took the time to organize all of my make-up and unpack new packages. While unpacking, I came across some beautiful products that I left a side on my make-up table to try and I wanted to share them with you.
It always seizes to amaze me how much time flies. Just yesterday we stepped into 2017 and I’m already looking at the beauty trends of 2018, two thousand eighteen people!! It even sounds bizarre saying it out loud. Anyway, I’ve gathered together a few beauty looks for you that really stood out to me during the last fashion week. Once you’ll scroll through the images you’ll notice some major throwback looks that are going to be trendy again. My personal favorite trends are the dramatic bottom lashes and the peachy cheeks, beautiful!
I’m currently spring cleaning and re-organizing my closet and make-up drawers to get rid of things that I no longer use or wear. But also to create space for new things (which is my favorite part). My birthday is coming (on the 28th) so I’m already looking for inspiration as to what I wanna wear on my birthday. When it comes to make-up looks, I’m still really into glowing, dewy skin and glossy lips. However, since summer is coming up I’m trying to experiment more with different lip colors – mainly peachy and orange hues.
I go through phases in life where I need to have everything in pink whether it’s my clothes, interior, make-up, you name it. The other day I was scrolling through Tumblr and for some reason there was so much pink inspiration in my feed so I wanted to share some inspiration on here. Like always, you can find all these images individually on my Tumblr page
I love stepping into a new season because it means: new beauty launches + new beauty trends. Most of the make-up trends this spring I had already seen coming but there are still a few trends that are unique and I wasn’t expecting. What better way to stay up to date with the latest beauty (& fashion) trends other than watching runway shows? Each designer of course has their own style and creates their own trends but these are the most popular beauty trends you’ll see next season.
Happy new year everyone, I hope you all had a great new years eve! Mine wasn’t very exciting, I accidentally fell asleep right before midnight so I missed all the fireworks. 2016 has gone by so quickly and I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings, hopefully some positivity and peace into this world. Looking back at my #MOTD’s I can definitely tell that glossy lips and big hoops are really my thing. I can’t wait to create more content and share lots of make-up inspo with you all.
Happy holidays everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the last few days of 2016 before welcoming the new year! I love adding a glittery nail polish over a plain nail color, just to create that extra sparkle and NYE seems to be the perfect occasion for that. I’ve created a few quick and simple nail arts you can do at home just in case you need some inspiration for New Years Eve. I’ve also added a “nude” nail art if you prefer to keep your nails minimal, this is also my favorite nail combo. FYI, glittery nail lacquers also seem to work great as a top coat 😉
It’s officially winter in Dubai which means, beach days are no longer the same. Gone are the days where I would spend literally every weekend on the beach working on my tan and soaking in the water. Winter does have its perks here in Dubai but I’ll definitely miss the warm beach days. In conclusion; I kinda miss summer. The body jewelry trend has been around for a while already but its a trend that I keep seeing more and more on my feed so I wanted to gather all the inspiration that I have and share it with you. I feel like the 70’s fashion & beauty trends are slowly coming back again. I noticed this the most when I was in London last summer. Disco glam, bohemian chic, hippie style, clumpy lashes, oversized colored glasses, vintage denim, messy beach waves and velvet textures are all becoming super popular again. I was really drawn to these images when I scrolled through my Tumblr feed, they give me major summer wanderlust.
