Last month I traveled to Bali for the first time and I had an amazing time! I traveled to different places within the island but my first stop was in Ubud. This area of Bali is known for its greenery and huge rice fields. The hotel I stayed at in Ubud was the Chedi Club Tanah Gajah. This property was built by a well respected Indonesian architect and art collector: “Hendra Hadiprana”. It once used to be his private residence but a few years ago he turned it into a resort and it has the most authentic Indonesian atmosphere you’ll ever find.
Living a plant based lifestyle in the UAE can be very challenging. Eating out has stopped being an option for me because its not as enjoyable anymore (since the only option I have is eating sides or a salad). Before I traveled to Bali, I heard so many positive things about the vegan & vegetarian spots there. I ate my way throughout the entire trip! The type of vegan food you’ll find there is unheard of here. From burgers, hot dogs to kebabs and so many desserts.
I’ve got so many photos from my recent trip to Amsterdam and I wanted to share them with you. This is the last post of AMS, I promise! I was so lucky to experience sunny weather was great while I was there. It’s usually very unpredictable, especially during April & May.
One of the highlights during my recent trip to Amsterdam was the yoga class with a stunning view of the city. I’m not really a yoga type because I’m so unbalanced however, it felt good stretching in the morning – especially with a view like this.
Last month I was invited to Amsterdam by Rituals Cosmetics which is a brand that I’ve been using since I was a teenager. When I found out last year that they were finally launching in Dubai I literally screamed of excitement. I had the privilege of learning more about the brand, experience the brand from the core and its birth place which is: Amsterdam. Along with learning more about their products, we did some cool activities too.
During our recent trip to Turkey with Turkish Airlines, one of the places we traveled to was Bodrum. It was my first time in Bodrum and it exceeded my expectations. I always thought of it as very touristy and commercial. I enjoyed every single moment in Bodrum and I wish we had stayed longer. It’s so beautiful, there’s a lot to do & see, the food is amazing and the people were super friendly. The coastline of Bodrum is stunning, we were there during low season so luckily it wasn’t too crowded.
If you love to be surrounded by nature than you’re probably going to love this area. One of the many places we’ve explored during our trip with Turkish Airlines is the waterfall in the province Mugla. The Turgut Selalesi natural waterfall is located in a small in a village on top of the mountains in Marmaris. Besides the waterfalls, this area is also known for the amazing fish restaurants.
Amsterdam is incredibly beautiful when it’s sunny. I was lucky enough to be there just in time for Cherry Blossom season. Having lived in Amsterdam almost all my life, I never realized that the city has so many cherry blossom trees. I only realized this now after not living there anymore. Having said that, it was much colder than I expected/wished. What did I get up to during this short trip? Shopping, cycling around the city, eating good food and catching up with friends and family.
Cruising through the mountains of Marmaris on jeeps was our main activity on the 2nd day in Turkey with Turkish Airlines. It took us a while to get to the top but we finally made it and it was definitly worth it. The view was stunning! I could spend the entire day up in the mountains but we had a full itinerary with other activities.
During my first day in Turkey I’ve been blown away! I was invited by Turkish Airlines to visit Turkey and explore some of the most beautiful places here. Ryadh has also joined me on this trip which makes it even more exciting! It’s not my first time in Turkey however, it is my first time in the Province Muğla. Words can’t even describe how incredibly beautiful this part of Turkey is, I’m blown away! I took SO many pictures during this trip, more than any other trip I’ve ever been to. There was just so much beauty everywhere and I felt like I had to capture it all.
