I always look forward to festival season, especially Coachella (not that I’ll be attending) But, I love seeing the creative make-up looks and the fashionable bohemian looks. I had never really tried “festival make-up” on myself so I thought I’ll give it a try. I really enjoyed creating this look and I’m pretty happy with the end result too. Product details are listed below.
I’m currently spring cleaning and re-organizing my closet and make-up drawers to get rid of things that I no longer use or wear. But also to create space for new things (which is my favorite part). My birthday is coming (on the 28th) so I’m already looking for inspiration as to what I wanna wear on my birthday. When it comes to make-up looks, I’m still really into glowing, dewy skin and glossy lips. However, since summer is coming up I’m trying to experiment more with different lip colors – mainly peachy and orange hues.
The other day I posted a minute tutorial on my Snapchat & Instagram stories on how I take flat-lay photos and what steps I follow before posting a high quality photo on social media. I got a few requests to share the video on my blog as well so that you guys can watch the video back.
Glowy highlighters are soooo 2016, apparently glitter highlight is the new popular trend of 2017. I’ve been seeing so many glittery highlighter looks through my social media feeds and I think it’s just starting. I’m all about trying new things and I think this glitter trend will definitely be one of them. You can wear the glitters on your cheekbones, around the tear duct, Cupid’s bow and even on your brow bones. Would you dare to rock this trend?
I go through phases in life where I need to have everything in pink whether it’s my clothes, interior, make-up, you name it. The other day I was scrolling through Tumblr and for some reason there was so much pink inspiration in my feed so I wanted to share some inspiration on here. Like always, you can find all these images individually on my Tumblr page
I love stepping into a new season because it means: new beauty launches + new beauty trends. Most of the make-up trends this spring I had already seen coming but there are still a few trends that are unique and I wasn’t expecting. What better way to stay up to date with the latest beauty (& fashion) trends other than watching runway shows? Each designer of course has their own style and creates their own trends but these are the most popular beauty trends you’ll see next season.
Lately I’ve been thinking of just chopping off my hair and try out a short mane. It’s so versatile and low maintenance, I might just chop everything off one day. Here are some hairstyles and haircuts that I’m currently inspired by. Photo sources: Pinterest
Happy new year everyone, I hope you all had a great new years eve! Mine wasn’t very exciting, I accidentally fell asleep right before midnight so I missed all the fireworks. 2016 has gone by so quickly and I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings, hopefully some positivity and peace into this world. Looking back at my #MOTD’s I can definitely tell that glossy lips and big hoops are really my thing. I can’t wait to create more content and share lots of make-up inspo with you all.
I hope everyone is enjoying their last days of 2016. These next few days I’ll just take it easy and get ready for 2017. My brother is in town so I’m super excited to spend new years with him! I’ve been getting so many requests to share my music playlist so I thought I’ll create a little playlist for you guys that’s mobile friendly then you can listen to it all the time.
It’s officially winter in Dubai which means, beach days are no longer the same. Gone are the days where I would spend literally every weekend on the beach working on my tan and soaking in the water. Winter does have its perks here in Dubai but I’ll definitely miss the warm beach days. In conclusion; I kinda miss summer. The body jewelry trend has been around for a while already but its a trend that I keep seeing more and more on my feed so I wanted to gather all the inspiration that I have and share it with you.
