Every autumn season I get super excited to wear make-up and experiment with different colors. It’s the end of the summer and wearing bold lip colors is totally acceptable without being judged. Personally. I’m not really a matte lip kinda gal but lately all I want to wear is matte lips for some reason. For these colors I tried to incorporate as many different textures and price ranges from drugstore to high end. Find out which lip colors you should be rocking this autumn!
Dior has recently added another fragrance to their Miss Dior range. The Dior Perfumer created a fresh yet romantic scent that promotes love. The fragrance was created in the birthplace of perfumes: Grasse and the beautiful actress Natalie Portman is the face of it.
“I refined the florality of Miss Dior Eau de Parfum to render it sensual and suggestive. It had to burst like that feeling of falling head over heels. A declaration of love, to love!”
– François Demachy
It’s always been known that orange eye make-up doesn’t look flattering when you have brown eyes and only those with blue eyes can pull it off. I disagree with that, I love orange eyeshadow colors. In fact, as someone who likes to experiment with colors, orange shades are my favorite.
As someone who likes to try out different hairstyles and hair colors, it can take a toll on my hair including my baby hairs/edges. I’ve never really had much baby hairs to begin with but I noticed how much it decreases when I try different hair styles, especially with braids!
Last month when I was in Bali, I stayed at the beautiful Anantara Resort in Uluwatu. This resort had the most beautiful entrance and I just had to take some photos there. It seemed like the perfect location to shoot wedding photos, the giant stairs and huge pots of beautiful colorful flowers looked stunning! It was quite hot during the day but it was definitely worth the photos.
I fell in love with this part of Bali, it’s so much more quiet and peaceful compared to the busy streets of Ubud and Seminyak. I’ve never been to Lombok (an island next to Bali) but judging by the pictures and videos I’ve seen, Uluwatu reminds me a lot of it. The empty beaches, high cliffs and huge waves were the perfect scenery to end my trip.
I know I’m probably the last person to review this palette but I still wanted to share my thoughts and swatches. Ever since I have gotten this palette, I haven’t stopped using it. Lately I’m really into warm and brown orangy eyeshadow colors so this palette has been perfect for me. I think Urban Decay never disappoints when it comes to the pigmentation of their eyeshadows, including this “Heat” palette.
The other day I experimented with the new FENTY make-up products. I went all in with the #TrophyWife gold highlighter, I just want to bathe in it! Since I went for a gold look, I paired it with a denim jacket & some gold accessories and I love this combo! Underneath the denim jacket, I’m wearing my favorite and most comfortable black jumpsuit, all product and outfit details are listed below.

I recently got my hands on the much anticipated “Everlasting Lip Liners” by Kat von D. I’m a huge fan of KVD make-up, their products never disappoint and I never find them misleading wether it’s by the names of the products or the hype around it. The lip liners collection features 30 shades in total. They range from a wide selection of colors, almost half of the collection features nude shades for different types of complexion. Despite the fact that this collection features many nude shades, I find them very versatile. The darker “nude” shades can be great as a base for medium brown and deep dark complexions. For the lighter & fairer complexions, these can be used as brown, taupe or rosewood liners.
I never thought that I could pull off white pants especially not a tight white jumpsuit. To my surprise, when I ordered it online and tried it on, it fitted perfectly and it’s the only thing that I want to wear now! I paired it with a nude colored trench coat because it’s a bit see through from the back and a gold chain belt – I feel like J.LO in this jumpsuit, ha! I kept my make-up simple, just the usual: bronzer, nude lipgloss and highlight.
